About me
I have an MA in Fashion, following in the footsteps of a lineage of women in my family who worked in textiles and industry.
I’m compelled to challenge traditional methods of making by resisting cutting into materials wherever possible; instead, I drape, cover, and wrap to create site specific sculptures and installations.
Things like branches, industrial scrap, buildings, rocks, become bodies to dress and adorn.
Ordinary things become strange, familiar and alive…
Alongside my practice, I work for not for profit arts organisations, have experience teaching arts at Degree level, and facilitate hands-on creative workshops.
